A bold palette and natural materials come together with a refined finish to create a sophisticated family kitchen.
This contemporary family kitchen was designed to complement the clean lines of a modern extension by Blake Architects which flooded the space with natural light, seamlessly linking the indoor and outdoor spaces.
The sleek form of this modern, elegant kitchen was designed to create a bright, open, sociable space for the family to enjoy. Details were stripped back to allow a bold palette, textural highlights and natural hues to take centre stage in the light-filled space.
Slab door, handle-less, oak cabinetry was finished in a striking, dark Copse Green hue while a natural oak breakfast bar and Amalfi white quartz worktop with discreet pop-up sockets provided contrast, linking the scheme to its surroundings. The bespoke, gilded cork and glazed splash-back introduced distinctive character and texture.
“Blake Architects designed a modern glass extension to the rear of this townhouse, which created a light kitchen and dining room for our client. Arlberry collaboratively worked with us to meet the clients brief for a sophisticated modern look that would work for a young family.
Arlberry addressed the functional brief with pragmatism and then brought their design flair to the kitchen introducing colour and a highly refined finish with many nuances that were in harmony with our design and lifted the whole scheme to a higher level. We found our focus on the detail was matched by them with an earnest desire to produce a beautiful kitchen – they delivered, we would recommend them and have used them since. “
